Nelson and Affiliates, Inc. was founded in 1995 by Rick Nelson. In the 17+ years of filling the demand for high quality drywall subcontractors in the Florida panhandle, we been involved on nearly every type of commercial construction project to be found in the Florida panhandle. Now with 3 locations in Florida, we have expanded our reach to fill this demand.

We have successfully performed our services on all types of projects from renovating a single office to constructing 15+ buildings on large single project contracts. This includes educational projects from elementary schools through universities, medical projects from specialized walk in clinics to new, renovations and additions to single and multi-story hospitals. We have also worked on various retail structures, build-outs and “mall” jobs. We have numerous Department of Corrections projects under our belt as well as Federal Government projects such as work at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and various military bases in the area. From the skyboxes at Doak Campbell Stadium at The Florida State University and Ben Hill Griffin Stadium at The University of Florida, to dorms, classrooms and athletic facilities, our footprint can be viewed all over universities in Florida and Georgia. We have also performed our services on a vast number of projects for the Florida Department of Management Services including office buildings and courthouses such as the 1st District Court of Appeals in Tallahassee to the House and Senate Buildings along with the capital building in Tallahassee.
